2021 Programme

It has been a nervous time for our club this year. We only got information to allow us to proceed a short time ago. The hoops have been epic. But now planning

is well under way for the event. The conditions are looking good. People are keen to get involved. We would still like more volunteers , so if you have a few hours free on the day, let us know.

Due to Covid there are many more things to be done. Everyone is working hard to get us over the line.

ATTENTION MARKET SELLERS

All prospective market sellers must book their Festival of the Wind site by phoning 0407 178 011. If not answered immediately, please leave a message, clearly leaving your name and number so we can return your call as soon as possible.
Regular market sellers will not automatically be included in the Festival of the Wind market without this booking.

The weather leading up to the big day was not looking good. There were some very worried organizers who were very nervous. Imagine their relief when the day turned out so well. It was a huge job and as I write this there are still many Lions club members and volunteers packing everything away.

Tomorrow the rest of the gear will be stacked away and a huge sigh of relief till work gets underway for Oktoberfest 2018.

Now doubt there will be many photos of the day but here are a couple from our tireless market coordinator Lyn, featuring the stilt walkers. If you have a photo you think we should feature either from the markets or the festival itself, please send it to one of the Lions members.
