8AM to 3PM –Over 150 markets stalls selling lots of great wares and food.

10AM and 11.30AM  Rockhampton Pipe Band play in the market arena.

10AM Queensland kite flyers will launch giant and novelty kites.

10:00 AM Amusements rides open: Fun and food at the area near the Lions Shack.

11:30 AM – Register for Sand Sculpture, Frisbee competition on the beach

  • Sand Sculpting - Many categories, free entry, great prizes.
  • Judging of Sand Sculptures at 2 PM

12:00 PM Start of Rokkaku Fighting Kite heats.

  • Sponsors kites do battle in the sky over Fisherman’s beach.
  • Final heat at around 3.30PM

 

12:00 - Free face painting for the kids at Information Booth

12.30 - Kite Making - Build your own kit kite, decorate it and get aloft!
