Hello visitor. Festival of the Wind is now one of the largest single day events in our area. We estimate that up to 8,ooo people make the journey to Emu Park to spend a couple of hours checking out the special market day and then heading down to the beach to enjoy the Festival. Hundreds of kit kites are made and flown by kids and adults alike. Plenty of great food, sandcastle and sculpting plus novelty events make this a family day no to be missed. Perhaps the main event is the sponsored Rokkaku fighting kite that all vie to win the coveted trophy.
